Flumisol 480 SC

General information: FLUMISOL 480 S.C. is a systemic herbicide that inhibits the protoporfiringen oxidase enzyme, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of chloroplasts. It is used before the emergency of weeds and/or when the have just emerged and are still small, preferably 15 to 20 days before sowing. It has little mobility, persisting in the soil´s first 2 to 3 cm. Its persistence depends of the soil´s chemical properties, rains, pH, organic matter, dose and others but it can be estimated in around 30 days.

Chemical group: Fenilftalamide

Flumisol 480 SC

Active principle:

Formulation: Concentrated Suspension.

Instructions: in soybeans, its use must be from 15-20 days up to 30 days before sowing depending on the soil´s chemical characteristics. In Eucaliptus grandis it can be used before and after it has been planted.

Application moment:

– Soybeans

Before weeds emergency: if a great infestation of grass weeds is expected in a soybeans paddock it will be required 100 to 110 cc/ha of FLUMISOL 480 S.C. and the application should be done with 70 gr/ha of Imazethapyr at a 70% formulation.

After weed emergency: if some weeds have already emerged then it will be needed 100 to 150 cc/ha of FLUMISOL 480 S.C. and 2.5 to 3 L of glyphosate at a 480 gr. of active ingredient formulation plus a wetting adjuvant.
Do not apply the product if weeds have already reached reproductive state.

– Eucalyptus
Before and after the planting of the trees. Pre emergency and early post emergency of weeds.

Mixing method:
Pour clean water in the application tank up to one half of its capacity. If it is going to be used with glyphosate, please pour the glyphosate before the water. Then add FLUMISOL 480 S.C. following the recommended dose and application rate of the equipment. Complete with water. Finally pour the wetting adjuvant. Keep the stirring device operating during the whole process.

Application method:
Calculate the volume to be applied per hectare. Calibrate the equipment in order to have a correct application. 40 to 50 drops per cm2 should be achieved. Don’t use more than 100 liters of mixing solution per hectare. Avoid diminishing speed, double applications or any other maneuver that could end up in excessive product application.

Just one time in the crop cycle. Soybeans: 20 to 30 days before sowing

Additional Information

Preventing resistance generation: it is recommended crop rotation or using FLUMISOL 480 S.C. combined with other herbicides with different modes of action in order to minimize the appearance of tolerant biotypes of different weeds.

Waiting time: in case of deciding to change the crop to be sown in a paddock that has already been treated with FLUMISOL 480 S.C. there would be a waiting time of 45 to 60 days depending of the soils characteristics and the crop now selected.

Re-entry time: not less than 24 hours.

Toxicological Classification: CLASS III (three), SLIGHTLY DANGEROUS IPCS/OMS 2009
