Dragón 10 W.G.

General information: Dragon 10 W.G. is a systemic and selective herbicide used in wheat and barley crops. It blocks de amino acids synthesis, de activating cellular division. This way, weeds that are susceptive to this mode of action stop their growth cycle. It controls broad leaf weeds as well as some grass weeds such as rye grass and Poa annua.

Chemical group: Sulfonilurea

*Partial control

Always use with non-ionic adjuvants

Application moment: Use DRAGON 10 W.G. when the weeds have between 2 to 3 leaves. The crop must be between 2 leaves and tilling.

Mixing method: Pour clean water in the application tank up to one half of its capacity. Then add DRAGON 10 W.G. following the recommended dose and application rate of the equipment. Complete with water. Finally pour the non-ionic adjuvant. Keep the stirring device operating during the whole process.

Application method: Calculate the volume to be applied per hectare. Calibrate the equipment in order to have a correct application. 40 to 50 drops per cm2 should be achieved. Don’t use more than 100 liters of mixing solution per hectare.  Avoid diminishing speed, double applications or any other maneuver that could end up in excessive product application.  Do not apply if rains are expected during the following 4 hours.

Compatibility: DRAGON 10 W.G is compatible with chlorsulfuron, metsulfuron and fenoxaprop-P-ethyl. Small scale physic-chemical and physiological compatibility test should be done if it is intended to mix with other agrochemicals.

Preventing resistance generation: it is recommended crop rotation or using DRAGON 10 WG combined with other herbicides with different modes of action in order to minimize the appearance of tolerant biotypes of different weeds.

Waiting time: 120 days for corn, and sunflower crops. 90 days for soybeans.

Re-entry time: not less than 24 hours.
